AEGIS serves chemical processing equipment, energy and oil and gas wellhead components, marine and shipyard structural assets, mobilized and off road equipment, paper and tissue manufacturing rolls, steel processing rolls, and food and pharma processing components. If the asset is metal and the environment is severe, we can coat it.

Can AEGIS coat assets in a chemical plant without shutting down the line?

For non removable assets AEGIS uses its field deployable service with portable surface prep, application, and induction cure equipment. Many chemical plant jobs run during planned turnarounds without requiring full line shutdown.

Does AEGIS coat paper machine rolls?

Yes. Paper and tissue rolls are one of our largest application categories. We coat calendering rolls, press rolls, and converting rolls with HVOF tungsten carbide and fluoropolymer overlays. Rolls up to 60 feet face length can be coated and cured in situ.

What marine coating services does AEGIS offer?

AEGIS provides corrosion prevention coatings for structural fasteners, anchor bolts, and pressure vessel exteriors in marine environments. Salt fog testing per ASTM B117 to 4,000 hours without substrate corrosion. Field service available for shipyard applications.

Can AEGIS coat food processing equipment to FDA standards?

Yes. AEGIS applies FDA 21 CFR 175.300 compliant fluoropolymer coatings for food contact surfaces including conveyor rolls, slicer blades, kettle interiors, and packaging bars. Material documentation provided with every food contact job.
